Invaders launch airstrikes on three villages in Zhytomyr region at night

At night, three villages in Zhytomyr region came under airstrikes by Russian invaders.

"On the night of March 12, the police received a report of airstrikes on the villages of Buda Vorobyi and Stari Vorobyi of Malyn community. The explosions destroyed and damaged houses. According to available information, no casualties were reported," Zhytomyr Region National Police Department posted on Facebook.

In addition, at about 04:00, airstrikes were launched on the village of Morozivtsi, Korosten district, as a result of which several residential buildings were destroyed and almost all other buildings in the village were left without roofs and windows. According to preliminary information, no casualties were reported.

At noon, residents of the village of Chervone, Berdychiv district, informed the police that at a distance of about 2 km from the outermost building of the village, traces of an explosion of an unknown munition up to 3m deep and 5m in diameter were found.

On February 24, Russian president Putin declared war on Ukraine and launched a large-scale invasion. Russian troops shell and destroy infrastructure, conduct massive shelling of residential areas of Ukrainian cities and towns using artillery, MLRS, and ballistic missiles.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
