Russia offers foreign mercenaries $300 per month for participation in Ukraine war

The Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine has said that Russia is offering "noble" soldiers from Syria, Libya and the Central African Republic $300 per month for participation in the war.

That's according to the Telegram channel of the organization, Ukrinform reports.

Despite the plans of the Russian generals, their army is running out of manpower. And in order to somehow improve the situation, Russia resorted to a "trick" - it decided to involve 16,000 volunteer fighters from Syria, Libya and the Central African Republic in the war with Ukraine.

"As they say, 'noble' soldiers have a 'noble' goal: participation in the 'liberation movement in the Donbas.' The goal of receiving a reward of $300 per month of war looks more realistic. What is even more realistic is that participation in the war is, in fact, the only chance for the population of these 'third world countries' to get to Europe. After all, as it was announced, if you surrender, you will end up in the EU," the statement reads.

At the same time, the Center clarified that in reality everything is not so simple, because in order to get to Europe, "volunteer fighters" will first need to survive in Ukraine.
