The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine released a video that calls for closing the sky over Ukraine or providing Kyiv with fighter jets.

The video was posted on the Ministry's Facebook and Telegram accounts.

A futuristic video shows a Russian plane dropping a bomb on the French capital and notes: "Just think if this were to happen in another European capital."

The video quotes the words of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky that we will fight till the end, and the request: "Close the sky over Ukraine or give us fighter jets. If we fall, you fall."

"We are saying for a reason that today Ukraine is a shield for the whole of Europe from the Russian-occupation forces," the Ministry summed up.

On February 24, Russian president Putin announced the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops simultaneously crossed Ukraine's borders from the north, east, and occupied Crimea. They are ruining cities, shelling and destroying key infrastructure, housing, and killing civilians.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.

President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed NATO countries with a request to close the sky over Ukraine.
