People being evacuated from five satellite towns of Kyiv

Convoys of vehicles have already left for evacuation sites in the towns of Irpin, Bucha, Vorzel, Hostomel, and Borodianka.

"Let me remind you, the evacuation is taking place from the towns of Irpin, Bucha, Vorzel, Hostomel and Borodianka. Departure is secured by police officers, representatives of the Red Cross international movement, local self-government bodies, the regional military administration," Head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration Oleksiy Kuleba posted on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

As reported, Ukraine and the Russian Federation agreed on the ceasefire on March 9, from 09:00 to 21:00 to evacuate people through six humanitarian corridors in different regions.

The war against Russian invaders has been going on in Ukraine since February 24. The occupiers are bombing Ukrainian cities, destroying social infrastructure, and causing humanitarian catastrophe.
