Vice PM calls on partners to strengthen Ukraine's air defense to secure Europe

Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olga Stefanishyna has called on Ukraine’s partners to strengthen her country’s air defense for the sake of saving people and ensuring security for the whole of Europe.

That’s according to Stefanishyna's tweet, seen by Ukrinform.

She noted that Russian air strikes are turning Ukrainian cities to ashes, every day killing civilians, including children.

"Dear partners, Ukraine is worth saving. For the sake of whole Europe strengthen 🇺🇦 air defense capabilities," the deputy prime minister wrote.

As reported, on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin launched an invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops are shelling and destroying key infrastructure, massively hitting residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages, using artillery, multiple rocket launchers, and ballistic missiles.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
