Zelensky: Putin's 'denazification' is pure Nazism

The so-called "denazification" of the Ukrainian people, under the guise of which Russian President Vladimir Putin started the war with Ukraine, is pure Nazism.

According to Ukrinform, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in an interview with ABC News.

"Denazification in this case is pure Nazism, the destruction of the Ukrainian nation. The same was true in the 1940s in Germany. They 'denazified' the Jews. The Russians are doing it now. I'm shocked. I didn't know that such things could be done in the modern world," Zelensky said.

He added that denazification has started many times in history and ended very badly.

"For some countries, it ended in such a way that those countries were horrified that they did it. Some countries began to 'cleanse' the world of one or another nation, and other countries regretted that they did not intervene, that they did not protect other nations," Zelensky said.

He said that in today's world, inhabited by different nations, there is still one nation in general - the "nation of people."

As was reported earlier, the war with Russian invaders has been going on in Ukraine since February 24.
