Russia’s air strike kills nine people in Sumy

In Sumy, Russia’s air strike on residential buildings killed nine people, including two children.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"In Sumy, rescuers eliminated the consequences of the air strike, which the enemy ruthlessly inflicted on the residential sector… According preliminary data, the shelling killed 9 people, including 2 children," the report says.

On March 7, Russia’s aircraft struck multi-apartment buildings located on Romenska and Spartak streets in Sumy.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine and launched a large-scale invasion. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure. Missiles hit residential buildings.
