Russian missile strike destroys 30 houses in Ovruch, Zhytomyr Region

A total of 30 detached houses have been destroyed in a missile strike launched by the Russian military in Ovruch, Zhytomyr Region.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian State Emergency Service on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“A missile strike has hit 30 detached houses in the residential area in the city of Ovruch, destroying five of them completely,” the report states.

No casualties have yet been reported. A total of 10 rescuers and two vehicles are involved in rescue operations.

A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, starting a war. Russian troops are killing civilians, shelling and destroying the key infrastructure facilities, launching missile strikes on residential houses.
