Russia’s combat losses in Ukraine exceed 10,000 persons

Since Russia initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the total combat losses of the aggressor state have exceeded 10,000 persons.

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Between February 24, 2022 and March 5, 2022, the combat losses were as follows: more than 10,000 persons, 269 tanks, 945 armored fighting vehicles, 105 artillery systems, 50 multiple launch rocket systems, 19 anti-aircraft defense systems, 39 aircrafts (information to be updated), 40 helicopters (information to be updated), 409 motor vehicles, two light high-speed power boats, 60 fire-fighting trailers, three unmanned aerial vehicles.

The data are yet to be updated. The calculation is complicated due to the high intensity of hostilities.

A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops are shelling and destroying the key infrastructure facilities, launching massive artillery strikes on housing sectors in Ukrainian cities and villages.
