Enemy’s column of military vehicles moving towards Zaporizhzhia NPP

In the city of Enerhodar, Zaporizhzhia Region, the enemy’s column of military vehicles is moving towards Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP).

The relevant statement was made by Energoatom National Nuclear Energy Generating Company of Ukraine on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Fierce battles are underway; the enemy’s column of military vehicles is moving towards the nuclear power plant. Loud shots can be heard from there. People are seeing rocket volleys within the industrial site from their windows,” the report states.

In addition, people have reported that many young men in sportswear with Kalashnikov rifles are walking around the city. All the entrances are closed, but they are breaking down the doors and attempting to break into local residents’ apartments, claiming they need to ‘take the height’.

A reminder that, on March 3, 2022, more than 100 military vehicles entered Enerhodar. The city has been defended by more than 20,000 people over several days. On March 3, 2022, Russians fired on the checkpoint and civilians.
