Russian military threw grenades at civilians who came out to defend own village

The Russian military threw grenades at civilians who came out to defend their village Vodiane in  Zaporizhzhia region. Two people were injured.

Chairman of the Enerhodar City Council Dmytro Orlov wrote on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Today at about 15:30 in the village of Vodiane, the occupiers threw a grenade, hitting two civilians. One man is in serious condition, another man was moderately injured. They were taken to the hospital in Kamianka," the report says.

As reported, on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine and launched a large-scale invasion. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure. Missiles hit residential buildings.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.

Ukraine officially filed a lawsuit against the Russian Federation with the UN International Court of Justice in The Hague.
