In Kherson, invaders capturing civilians - administration chief

In Kherson, the Russian aggressors are taking civilians captive.

This was reported via Telegram by the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Hennadiy Lahuta, according to Ukrinform.

"There are already cases in Kherson where Russians captured civilians! One such case occurred in Shumenske," the statement reads.

He encourages people to stay at home.

As it was reported earlier, Russian troops are seen in the streets of Shumensky residential district; shots are fired around KhBK.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the launch of the invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops open fire to destroy key infrastructure, missiles hit residential buildings. 

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
