Donetsk region to allocate UAH 2.5 mln in financial rewards for Paralympics winners

Donetsk region will earmark UAH 2.5 million to give cash prizes to the winners at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games and their coaches.
Chairman of Donetsk Military and Civil Regional Administration Pavlo Zhebrivsky posted this on his Facebook page.
“We will allocate UAH 2.5 million from the regional budget for cash prizes to the winners at the Paralympics and to their coaches," the governor said and added that it was agreed to work on a program of development and support of Paralympic sports in Donetsk region.
