Ukrainian tennis players to play in Australia's 2016 Hopman Cup

In January 2016, Ukraine will participate in the Hopman Cup, traditional tennis tournament, in Perth,Australia, for the first time in 11 years.
The official twitter account of the tournament reported.
Ukraine will be represented there by the first "rackets" of the country Elina Svitolina and Alexandr Dolgopolov.
Our team was drawn in the Gold group along with Australia, the USA, and the Czech Republic.
The last time Ukraine was represented there by Andrei and Natalia Medvedev, who in 1995 reached the final, where they lost to the German double Boris Becker and Anke Huber.
As a background note, the Hopman Cup is a tournament for singles and mixed doubles. Teams and players are selected and invited by the organizers.
