Azarov urges Ukrainians to be worthy of liberators' feat

"On this great holiday, I sincerely congratulate veterans of the Great Patriotic War, activists of veteran organizations on the great victory, about which we and our future generations will always remember, bowing heads before the heroes. Our responsibility is to be worthy of the liberators' feat, to make every effort to maintain peace, concord and social harmony on the Ukrainian land," the head of government said.

Ukraine has paid a huge price for this victory, Mykola Azarov stressed. "We do not have a family that has not made its contribution to the victory, and in whose fate the war has not left its mournful mark. So, deep gratitude and sorrow for the dead will live forever in our hearts," the prime minister said.

He wished the veterans good health and longevity, and success to all those involved in the affairs of veterans.
