Over 1.7 mln internally displaced people registered in Ukraine

Ukrainian social protection agencies have registered 1.709,083 internally displaced persons or 1.384,889 families from Donbas and Crimea.
This is reported by the Social Policy Ministry press service.
"As of September 5, 2016, the social protection structural units of regional and Kyiv city state administrations registered 1.709,083 internally displaced persons or 1.384,889 families from Donbas and Crimea," the statement reads.
According to the Ministry, 976,234 families have applied for temporary assistance and 900,493 of them have been assigned such assistance.
