Vyshyvanka Run, the race of people wearing Ukrainian national embroidered shirts, has been held in Dnipro city today, on the occasion of the Independence Day.
This is reported by an Ukrinform correspondent.
"In our view, healthy and happy people are the best gift for our country," Svitlana Lishchynska, the organizer of the Vyshyvanka Run, said.
The youngest participant in the race was just two and a half years old, the oldest participant was 78 years old. Although Dnipro hosted such an event for the first time, it was attended by about 400 city residents.
