Independence Day parade held in Kyiv

The military parade dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine has started in Kyiv city center.
As an Ukrinform correspondent reports, the parade is attended by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, Defence Minister Stepan Poltorak, Commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Lieutenant-General Serhiy Popko.
According to the report of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry, more than 4,000 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service, the National Police of Ukraine, the ATO participants, and more than 200 pieces of military equipment take part in the parade.
