Ukrainian doctors implant artificial heart for the first time

An artificial heart was implanted in a patient at the Kyiv’s Institute of Heart for the first time in Ukraine.
Cardiologist Borys Todurov wrote this on Facebook.
"We did it! The first artificial heart has been implanted at the Institute of Heart in Ukraine. The patient has just left for the intensive care unit!" Todurov wrote.
The first artificial heart was implanted at the Institute of Heart in Kyiv by Borys Todurov and his team and German professor Christof Schmid.
