Medal award ceremony at Kyiv’s World War II History Museum

A ceremony for awarding the Order of "National Hero of Ukraine" will take place on Saturday, May 7, at the National Museum of History of Ukraine in World War II, the press service of the museum reports on its site.
"Next ceremony will be a symbolic one since it will be held on the eve of Remembrance Day and Reconciliation Day and the victory over Nazism in World War II. It will take place in the main building of the National Museum of History of Ukraine in World War II where people have honored the memory of participants in World War II for decades and from 2014 - even participants in the war in eastern Ukraine," a statement said.
This non-governmental award, which was awarded by volunteers in 2015, is the merit of the people of Ukraine. It is awarded for outstanding achievements in defending independence of Ukraine and volunteer assistance to the country’s armed forces.
