Ukraine, EU to sign agreement on joining EU Creative Europe Program

Ukrainian Culture Minister Viacheslav Kyrylenko said this during his ‘About Culture’ program on the Ukrainian Radio First Channel, the ministry’s press service reported.

"The Culture Ministry is working on the process of preparations for signing the agreement of Ukraine’s participation in the EU Creative Europe Program this November. The European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sports for the first time in the history of Ukraine-EU relations will visit our state. The joining to the Creative Europe Program will enable Ukraine to lay a claim to grant resources from the fund totaling 1.5 billion euros and finance joint with the European partners cultural, artistic, memorial preservation and other projects,” Kyrylenko said.
