Irena Karpa to head Ukrainian Culture Center in Paris soon

Ukrainian writer, singer, journalist, TV presenter Irena Karpa will soon head the Ukrainian Culture and Information Center at the Embassy of Ukraine in the French Republic.
Karpa said this to an Ukrinform correspondent after the literature event in Paris.
The writer also shared her plans for activities of the Ukrainian Culture Center in Paris.
"I have extensive plans. I have a big list of partners in Ukraine that are ready to present our country as a modern, completely competitive country to finally move beyond this agricultural image which we unfortunately have," Irena Karpa noted.
According to her, Ukraine has "interesting artists, movie, music, literature and theater projects" which should be presented in France. The writer also revealed her intention to organize panel discussions, intellectual exchanges, to conduct Ukrainian literature events and show Ukrainian documentary.
