Ex-Ambassador John Herbst outlines priorities of Western assistance to Ukraine

The main solutions for enhancing support for Ukraine depend on the political leadership of three world capitals.
This was stated by former US Ambassador to Ukraine John Herbst at the international conference dedicated to the conflict in Donbas, held in the European Parliament on Tuesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"In my opinion, Ukraine needs specific decisions of the political leadership of three world capitals: Washington, Berlin, and Brussels [EU leaders]," the Ambassador said.
The diplomat noted that preserving or strengthening sanctions against Russia, providing greater economic support, and increasing military aid are among specific forms of such support.
