Ecology Minister: Draft National Waste Management Strategy to be ready by the end of 2016

Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Ostap Semerak says the ministry plans to develop a draft National Waste Management Strategy by the end of the current year.
“We’re planning hold a serious discussion on the waste management strategy. Such a strategy has not been created over 25 years of our independence, and that’s why we’ve finally started to implement this task. At present we’ve formed a special group, which is directed by me. And we’re planning to develop a draft National Waste Management Strategy by the end of the year,” Semerak said at a press briefing on Tuesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
