Kyiv Council to allocate UAH 280 mln to provide housing for ATO participants

Kyiv City Council will earmark UAH 280 million to provide housing for military personnel participated in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone.

Chairman of Kyiv Council's permanent commission on budget, social and economic development, Andriy Strannikov, said this at a press briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent report.

“A total of UAH 280 million will be allocated to purchase accommodation for ATO soldiers, this is a significant sum,” Strannikov said.

He also noted that a part of city budget funds, about UAH 400 million, is planned to be allocated to support municipal companies and about UAH 800 million will be spent for city transport.
