President conducts several bilateral meetings during visit to Israel

In the course of his visit to Israel with a view to participate in the farewell ceremony of Nobel Peace Prize laureate, President of Israel (2007-2014) Shimon Peres, President Petro Poroshenko had a series of bilateral meetings.

This has been reported by the press service of the Head of State.

The Head of State, inter alia, met with President of France Francois Hollande, President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė, President of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović and President of Romania Klaus Iohannis.

The President of Ukraine also held meetings with Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau and Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico.

Poroshenko also held negotiations with Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu. The parties agreed to improve trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and Israel, particularly to carry out the following session of the bilateral trade-economic commission in October.
