The wife of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, Maryna, in New York met with Michelle Obama, First Lady of the United States.
President Poroshenko wrote this on his Facebook page.
“During the reception on behalf of First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama, women discussed the projects they are engaged in. Their activities as mothers are alike: Michelle focuses on education of young girls, Maryna helps children with disabilities in obtaining education and socialization. I am sure that female solidarity is a powerful driving force,” Poroshenko wrote.
