PM Groysman: Sufficient powers should be delegated to local communities

Sufficient powers should be delegated to local communities so that they can efficiently solve local problems, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has said, the government’s official website reports.
"Our task is to delegate sufficient powers and responsibilities to local communities that will enable them to more effectively resolve issues. It is important to create such prerequisites so that communities and their role be enhanced, because earlier it was a side issue in Ukraine. The central government used to concentrate most of powers", said Groysman at a meeting with EU Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Johannes Hahn in Vinnytsia on Thursday.
