The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine every month receives over a thousand complaints against judges.
Chairman of the High Qualification Commission of Judges Serhiy Koziakov said today at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on preventing and combating corruption, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Dear colleges, every month we receive a thousand and more complaints,” Koziakov said.
At the same time, he noted that as a rule relevant agencies in Europe receive only 300-complaints a year.
“The commission is in the current composition after a nine-month break that was caused by the adoption of a law on restoration in the judiciary (then all members of the commission were discharged). By that time, we had had over 10,000 disciplinary complaints,” Koziakov said.
