Government approves plan on implementing Integrated Border Management Concept

The Ukrainian government has approved an action plan on implementing an Integrated Border Management Concept, according to a report on the official government’s website.

"The government approved an action plan on implementing the Integrated Border Management Concept. The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a corresponding resolution, No.626-r, on August 31,” reads the report.

The carrying out of the action plan will enable raising the level of security of the state border and ensuring its openness for the legitimate cross-border activities and people who travel; bringing to a new level of international, border and interdepartmental cooperation, according to the report.

"The implementation of activities outlined in the plan is projected for the period of 2016-2020,” reads the report.
