Andrzej Duda: Poland to support transatlantic, European aspirations of Ukraine

President of Poland Andrzej Duda has stated that Poland has been supporting Ukraine for 25 years of its independence and will further support the European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations of Ukraine.

Polish President said this during a joint briefing with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Poland has been the partner of Ukraine for 25 years. We were the first country which recognized the independence of Ukraine... We stand together in this extremely difficult time for Ukraine, amid ongoing conflict in the east of the Ukrainian state and the occupation of Crimea. Poland has been and, I believe, will be together with Ukraine, supporting its European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations," Duda said

As reported, President of Poland Andrzej Duda arrived in Kyiv yesterday.
