President Poroshenko: We stand together with France in these difficult times

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said while visiting the Embassy of France in Ukraine to pay tribute to the victims of Thursday night’s terror attack in Nice, France.

“I’d like to assure that Ukraine is side by side with our French partners and brothers and is willing to make every effort to fight against terrorism. Ukraine is well aware of terrorism after the Russian aggression in the east of our state. Ukrainians bury their heroes and do everything possible to stop terrorist attacks in Ukraine and all over the world,” the President said.

Thus, President Poroshenko on behalf of the whole Ukrainian people expressed condolences to the families and relatives of those killed, and added that only common efforts can stop terrorism.

“We stand together with France in these difficult times,” Poroshenko stressed.
