British PM Cameron: Brexit not to affect support for Ukraine

The UK will find ways to continue to support Ukraine amid Brexit.

British Prime Minister David Cameron said this during the meeting with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in Warsaw.

"We will find the ways to continue to support Ukraine amid Brexit,” the press service of the Ukrainian Head of State quotes Cameron as saying.

Poroshenko thanked the British government for its firm stance in support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

In particular, the sides discussed topical issues of international politics and issues in the context of the Brexit referendum results and the UK’s decision to leave the EU. President Poroshenko also praised financial and expert assistance of the United Kingdom in the implementation of reforms and training of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
