Violations of children's rights and prisoner swap in line with '25 for 50' formula were discussed at the meeting of humanitarian subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk on Monday.

First Vice Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament Iryna Herashchenko said this on the air of a Ukrainian TV channel on Monday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"112 our citizens are still held captive in the occupied territories. Ten our political prisoners, not mentioning Crimean Tatars, are held in Russia. Their release is actually a matter of honor for Ukraine. This was discussed at the Minsk subgroup meeting today," Herashchenko said.

She reiterated that the Ukrainian side was ready to "transfer 50 people to another party to release 25 hostages, whose whereabouts are known."

Ukraine also expressed willingness to transfer eight people who had been detained near Shyrokyne, Donetsk region, last week.
