Verkhovna Rada upholds law on introduction of private enforcement institute

Ukrainian MPs didn’t approve a draft resolution cancelling parliament’s decision as of June 2, 2016 on the adoption of the law on agencies and persons who perform enforcement of court rulings and other decisions by different bodies (№ 2506а).

Only 56 MPs supported the relevant decision with at least 226 votes needed, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to the authors of the law, the Verkhovna Rada regulations were violated during the voting on law № 2506а.

As Ukrinform earlier reported, on June 2, 2016, Ukrainian MPs approved the law agencies and persons who perform enforcement of court rulings and other decisions by different bodies. The law is aimed at determining the basis of organization of enforcement of court rulings and decisions by other agencies of the state executive agencies and private enforcement officers, their tasks and legal status.
