U.S. Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland will travel to Moscow May 17-18 to discuss Donbas crisis with senior Russian government officials.

"Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland traveled to Moscow May 17-18 to meet with senior Russian government officials to discuss next steps in Minsk implementation," the statement reads.

As noted, she will also discuss a number of bilateral and regional issues with Russian officials.

Afterward, Nuland will join U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry in Brussels (Belgium) on May 18-20.
