Decision on police mission during elections in Donbas should be adopted by all 57 OSCE participating states – Hug

Issues on placement of the OSCE police mission during the elections, which could be held in Donbas, should be adopted by all 57 OSCE participating states on a consensus basis.

Alexander Hug, Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine, said this during a briefing in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The steps regarding the elections in Donbas are discussed at the talks in Minsk format. Issues on placement of the OSCE police mission should be adopted by all 57 OSCE participating states. Such decision should be taken on a consensus basis," he said.
