Civil activists call on President Poroshenko to renew CEC composition

Ukrainian civil activists are calling on Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to renew the composition of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC).
A relevant petition that was registered on the presidential official website on April 25 gathered 4,459 signatures.
“Leading public and expert organizations of Ukraine are calling on Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to urgently register a proposal in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine regarding the appointment of new members of the CEC,” the petition states.
