Re-certification of Ukrainian police to be over in six months - Dekanoidze

The re-certification of all the police officers in Ukraine will be over in six months while the reform of the whole structure will take up to five years.
Head of the National Police Khatia Dekanoidze said this in an interview with Radio Liberty.
"We are currently completing the process in Khmelnytsky region. We launch the process in relatively smaller regions - Volyn, the western Ukraine soon. The next cities will be Odesa, Mykolayiv, Kharkiv. I think that the re-certification will be over in six months..." the head of the National Police said.
Dekanoidze hopes that the patrol police will operate in 29 major Ukrainian cities by June.
