Kononenko leaving post of BPP faction first deputy head

Ihor Kononenko has announced he leaves the post of the first deputy head of the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko (BPP) faction for the period of investigation into the statement, made by Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine Aivaras Abromavicius.
This is reported by the BPP press service.
"I decided to leave the post of the first deputy head of the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko parliamentary for the period of investigation [by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine] and ask the faction to support my decision," he stated.
As a reminder, the Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine Aivaras Abromavicius, who has decided to resign, said that MP Ihor Kononenko had been blocking the work of the Ministry.
