MP Nayem: Interior ministry opens public access to database of vehicle owners

Interior ministry of Ukraine has opened an access to the public to the database of vehicles registered starting from 2012.
MP Mustafa Nayem from Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction reported, according to the website of the faction.
"Now every citizen can obtain complete information about any vehicle registered starting from 2012. To access the service you can log in through BankID or use a plugin of an electronic digital signature," said Nayem.
He noted that the search for a vehicle data includes vehicle of individuals (last name, date of birth) or legal persons (name of a legal entity or state registration company number). Search results are displayed - vehicle owner, vehicle registration date, year and engine type - comes to a specified email address.
"All the information is free of charge. Response time takes up to ten minutes," Nayem added.
