Klimkin: Ukraine to file new suits against Russia over losses in Crimea

Ukraine will file lawsuits against Russia over the losses that Ukrainian companies incurred because of the occupation of Crimea, and it is expecting for the trials on the previously submitted claims.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said on Hromadske TV Channel.

“Our work [is being continued] on trials that will be in the future over the compensation to certain economic entities of our companies. Some trials will be in the near future. As to the companies – a lot of companies, we are coordinating this, have already submitted lawsuits, Oschadbank and Naftogaz, and a lot of companies are working on this, we are coordinating this case. But soon there will be other productions in courts, as we together with lawyers have worked out the logistics of these lawsuits,” he said.
