Kyiv has about 35 charging stations for electric cars – expert

About 100 charging stations for electric vehicles are already operating in Ukraine, 35 of which are located in Kyiv.

Viacheslav Shevnin, manager of the Ukrainian branch of Ensto Building Technology, said this in the comments to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"The first station appeared three years ago. As of today, about 100 stations are operating in Ukraine. There are 35 [stations] in Kyiv. In total, there are 200 electric cars in the capital,” Shevnin said.

According to him, there are four producers of charging stations in Ukraine, although their equipment is not been delivered yet.

"Chargers are operating on highways from Kiev towards Lviv, Odesa, Kharkiv,” Shevnin added.

He also noted that a detailed map of charging stations in Ukraine and around the world is available on plugshare.com.
