U.S. will never recognize Russia’s annexation of Crimea – Biden

U.S. Vice President Joe Biden said in his speech in the Ukrainian parliament, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Countries in the 21st century can’t reshape the policy by force, and we can’t let them do so. These are the main rules. Russia has violated these rules and is continuing to violate them. Today Russia is occupying sovereign territory of Ukraine. I would like to state that the United States will never recognize Russia’s attempts to annex Crimea,” the U.S. vice president said to the applause of those present in the Verkhovna Rada.

U.S. Vice President Biden also added that were no excuses for such actions, and the United States would continue to stand firmly with the people of Ukraine in the face of continued aggression from Russia and Russian-backed separatists, and would assist in attracting support from the whole world.
