Sakvarelidze nominated chief of General Inspectorate Department

Davyd Sakvarelidze becomes the chief of the General Inspectorate Department at the General Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko made a statement at the presentation of the anti-corruption prosecutor Nazar Kholodnytsky, Ukrinform reports.
"As far as I know, yesterday the Prosecutor General signed a decree on establishment of the special Department of General Inspectorate, which was given extremely serious and extensive powers for eradicating corruption, conducting operations against crime within the Prosecutor General's Office itself. The decision was made that Deputy Prosecutor General Davyd Sakvarelidze will be chief of this department as we have agreed with our partners," Poroshenko noted.
