Poroshenko in Paris: Terror attacks daily reality for Ukraine for almost 21 months

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said in his speech at the 21st UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The terrible events that France experienced on the tragic November day are a daily reality for Ukraine for almost 21 months,” Poroshenko said.

According to the President, Ukraine is suffering from terrorism that is being financed and promoted by the Russian Federation. As a result, over 8,000 Ukrainians, of whom 6,000 civilians, have been killed.

“I am convinced that there can be no compromise on democratic values and principles with terrorists or states sponsoring terrorism. We are not afraid and will never be intimidated. Ukrainians stand side-by-side with the French,” the head of the Ukrainian state said.
