President of Finland supports extension of sanction against Russia

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko held a meeting with President of Finland Sauli Niinistö.
The press service of the head of state reports.
“The Presidents noted the need to prolong sanctions against Russia until full implementation of the Minsk agreements,” reads a report.
President Poroshenko informed his colleague on the situation in Donbas and the progress of Ukraine in implementing reforms. He also thanked Finland for political support, significant humanitarian aid and contribution of Finland to the OSCE SMM activity.
Tin addition, President Poroshenko praised efforts of Finland in supporting Ukraine, in particular, the release of Ukrainian citizens illegally imprisoned in Russia.
The Ukrainian side also invited President Niinistö to pay an official visit to Ukraine.
