Crimean leaders of Mejlis searched

The occupation authorities search the leaders of regional Mejlis departments in Crimea, reportedly looking for those responsible for undermining the pylons in Kherson region.

First Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Nariman Dzelial posted this information on his Facebook page.

"At 6:00 today, the Russian security service officers came to search the house of chairman of Kirov regional Mejlis department Ekrem Abdulvatov. They said that the search was linked to a criminal case over blowing up the pylons in Kherson region," Dzelial informed.

According to him, the officers seized nothing during nearly two-hour search.

The similar search was conducted at the house of acting chairman of Sovetsk regional Mejlis department Rustem Mennanov.

Commenting on the fact, coordinator of the civil blockade of Crimea Lenur Islyamov wrote on his Facebook page that the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people on the peninsula suffered additional trials.
