The State Border Service of Ukraine blocked the movement of goods across the administrative border with the annexed Crimea.

The Service’s press office reports this.

"Particular attention will be paid to the ships, which move near the peninsula, to prevent the movement of goods by sea. Also, measures will be taken to strengthen control over the order and the regime at the entry-exit checkpoints," reads the statement.

As a reminder, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko sent to the Cabinet of Ministers the letter to urgently establish a working group to study the issue of termination of the freight traffic and trade with Crimea and to prepare the relevant decision, as well as to make decision on the temporary termination of trucks and railway traffic.

November 23, the government decided to temporarily ban the freight traffic on the administrative border with the annexed Crimea.
