Families of those killed at Maidan receive financial aid - Rozenko

The state has paid about UAH 260,000 in financial aid to families of those killed citizens during protect actions at Maidan Nezalezhnosti.

Ukrainian Social Policy Minister Pavlo Rozenko said at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Today the aid payment amounting UAH 259,600 has been made to families of those killed. A total of UAH 121,000 was paid last year, and UAH 130,000 is this year payment,” Rozenko said.

According to him, there are 107 Ukrainians on the list of those killed during events at Maidan.

Besides, the one-off financial aid is paid to the persons who were seriously injured.

“This is a new program. Today this list includes 122 people and all needed payments totaling about UAH 60,000 have been paid,” the minister said.
